Responsibilities

1. Responsible for operation and maintenance of the boiler
2. Guardian of boiler operation to ensure steam supply adequate for production.
3. Daily inspection at the boiler on gauge glass, safety valve, burner flame, chimney, smoke emission, exhaust gas temperature and level, circulation pump pressure, water supply tank and blowdown valve.
4. Sent water sample to Laboratory for Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) test.
5. Conduct inspection on steam piping and steam header in the plant.
6. To assist the implementation of preventive maintenance for all machinery in the plant.
7. Supervise boiler maintenance job for DOSH annual inspection.
8. To carry out other instructions from superior on matters pertaining to maintenance job.
9. Perform housekeeping in boiler room and wastewater plant.
10. Perform additional tasks as and when needed / requested by superiors.
