Job Summary


We are currently looking to hire a new music teacher who is versed in both woodwinds and brass instruments.  Applicants do not need to be professional performers, but should have a background in teaching.  By teaching, we mean instructing students, building a strong rapport with both a student and/or parent, moving through a pathway for personal growth for a student  by  using method books, supplementary materials and exploration with personal creation.  Teachers should be able to provide action items for students at each lesson that builds on the musical pathway and growth of the student.  


The most popular wind instruments are clarinet, flute, alto sax and tenor sax.  If you can teach soprano, baritone, oboe or bassoon, that is helpful, but not needed.  In terms of brass, the most popular are trump...
