Job Title: Building Operator (Trades)
Annualized salary equivalent to $89,356 - $91,728 + benefits, paid vacation, pension, and other perks.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Facilities, the Building Operator (Trades) works under minimal supervision to maintain work orders and carry out day‑to‑day repairs and ongoing preventative maintenance for all City‑owned facilities systems specific to their trade.
The Building Operator identifies and reports system deficiencies and unsafe working conditions, using safe work practices at all times in accordance with City policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
We maintain and improve the City’s buildings and facilities to ensure they are safe, efficient, and well‑designed. Our team handles maintenance, repairs, and construction projects that support City operations and enhance spaces for staff and residents.
