Position Summary

Building Surveyor – Consultancy. Auckland, New Zealand. Hybrid work, 6‑month fixed‑term contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality commercial advice to institutional investors, landlords and corporate occupiers across all asset classes.
• Assist with technical due diligence, make‑good & dilapidations, CAPEX planning, project monitoring and schedules of condition.
• Prepare and review building defect audits, pathology reports and construction type diagnostics.
• Coordinate and support the management of large national projects and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree‑qualified in building surveying with 2–5 years of commercial consultancy experience.
• Recently MRICS chartered or actively pursuing the RICS APC with the intention to sit the final assessment within the next 6–12 months.
