Position Details

BUS DRIVER

  • Hourly wage $23.57-25.14 

  • *Sign-on bonus $750 for non-certified drivers / $1250 for certified drivers

  • **Retention bonus up to $1250

    • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.

  • Must have or be able to obtain a CDL Group B with air brake and P/S endorsements – paid training available.

  • Must have passed or be able to pass MDE Beginning Bus Driver Class.

    • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents, staff, and the public.

  • Ability to read and interpret driving directions and a map.

  • Establish and maintain proper conduct of passengers on a school bus.
