Job Description
Responsibilities - Execute daily buyer responsibilities including PO placement, PO confirmation, RFQs (Request for Quotations) and rescheduling activities to maintain optimal inventory.
- Coordinating with both overseas & local suppliers to resolve purchase-related matters, monitor shipment status and update the arrival dates in the system.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning to ensure seamless operations.
- Drive cost-efficiency to achieve cost saving while maintaining quality standards and ensure timely delivery across all procurement activities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities and reliability.
- Evaluate and appraise suppliers for machine components, materials, and procurement products from both local and overseas sources.
