Title:  Campus Safety Dispatcher

Description:  Under the supervision of the Director of Campus Safety, the Campus Safety Dispatchers are an integral part of campus activities, and are responsible for answering and transferring all incoming calls that are dialed to the main Hartwick College phone number.  The dispatchers serve the Campus Safety and Facilities Department while handling everything from emergency situations to routine assignments and service requests.  The dispatcher is also a first line customer service representative and gives the important first impression for people making telephone inquiries to the campus.  This position is for the 11:00pm - 7:00am shift.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide continuous 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service to the Hartwick College community

+ Answer all incoming phone calls and transfer these calls to the appropriate office or person
