Position Description:This position performs carpentry work primarily in support of structural concrete construction. Responsibilities include building, installing, aligning, bracing, and removing concrete formwork and falsework systems for foundations, slabs, walls, columns, and decks. Falsework refers to the temporary shoring and support structures that hold concrete forms and freshly placed concrete in position until the concrete has cured and is self‑supporting. The role requires reading and interpreting construction documents, performing accurate layout, and coordinating closely with concrete crews to ensure safety, quality, and compliance prior to and during concrete placement. This is a safety‑sensitive position.

Position Qualifications:

Must be able to obtain and maintain installation access credentials (badging) as required to work on Redstone Arsenal.
