About the role

We have an opportunity for a skilled and qualified Carpenter or Kitchen Fitter with experience to work on a special project across our Essex region of 11 care homes.

You will be part of the wider, well established Maintenance Team, working closely with a dedicated Maintenance Operative on the refurbishment of kitchenettes, bathrooms, replacement of fire doors and other general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install kitchen and bathroom units, cabinets and worktops.
• Fit and hang fire doors.
• Work to design plans and drawings.
• Measure, mark and prepare installation areas accurately.
• Adjust and modify units to fit around obstructions (pipes, columns, electrics, etc.) ensuring precise finishes.
