Responsibilities
Process Transactions:
- Scan items, ensure accurate pricing, and handle payments (cash, card, or digital).
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as necessary.
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers with purchases or inquiries.
- Resolve complaints or escalate to a supervisor when required.
Register Maintenance:
- Count cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Replenish register supplies (bags, receipts, etc.).
Work Area Management:
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
- Follow safety, security, and company policies.
