The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and payments in an accurate and efficient manner. Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Ensure that the customers have a pleasant shopping experience
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
- Calculate total payments received during shift
- Maintain cleanliness of checkout areas
