About the Role

Work alongside nursing teams to help provide services to patients. This role offers variety across all wards/units and requires adaptability to a changing clinical environment on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in care delivery.
• Provide one-to-one patient therapeutic observations.
• Support teams across all wards/units.
• Perform other tasks as directed.

Qualifications

• Experience within the health sector is required; ideally holding an NZQA Level 3: New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing – Health Assistance Strand, or equivalent, or willingness to study toward it.
• Mature outlook and the ability to work well with a wide variety of people.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capability to work flexibly and methodically.
• Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and initiative.
