Overview

Performs Organization and Intermediate aircraft weapons systems maintenance, on and off equipment weapons systems/component repair, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing, launch and recovery operations, corrosion control and inspection with minimum supervision. Must have extensive knowledge of the aircraft weapons systems for which he is certified. Must become qualified and certified in explosives handling personnel qualification and certification program in accordance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series and 8023.3 series. Must be customer oriented.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

+ Responsible for all weapons system scheduled/unscheduled on and off equipment maintenance on F-5 aircraft.

+ Removes, transports, inspects, repairs, cleans, and reinstalls aircraft launcher rails and pylons.
