Job Summary

This class is accountable for identifying, evaluating, and treating students with speech/language, auditory processing, feeding, and social language disorders which significantly impact the student's ability to participate successfully in educational, vocational, community and home environments.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Considerable knowledge of anatomic, physiologic, linguistic and psycholinguistic variables and their relation to development and use of speech, voice and language.
• Considerable knowledge of understanding of speech and language disorders and management procedures used in habilitation and/or rehabilitation.
