As a CAT A certifying technician, you will
1) Primarily perform certification for the release of an aircraft on line maintenance which require only simple and routine tasks to be carried out.
2) Carry out minor scheduled line maintenance tasks and simple defect rectification that are within the limitations stated in the Authorisation certificate.
- Examples of tasks that a CAT A license holder can be authorized to perform includes but not limited to replacement of wheel, routine fluid servicing, opening and closing of cowlings and quick access panels etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carries out maintenance and certification of aircraft handled by Line Maintenance.
- Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data
- Keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued
