  • Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way.
  • Oversee food preparation, checking that all kitchen staff are performing their duties.
  • Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed.
  • Train new kitchen staff
  • Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations
  • Monitoring and controlling stock levels
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
  • Cook food in a timely manner.
  • Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Chef or cook.
  • Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment.
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary, Leadership skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
