Duties

• Supervise research to assess, improve, and develop scientific procedures and technologies used in the determination of mycotoxins.
• Supervise surveillance and monitoring of mycotoxins performed to support Canada’s reputation as a consistent and reliable source of high-quality grain.
• Supervise a team of technicians as well as the operations of an analytical laboratory containing a variety of state-of-the-art tools, including liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry and high resolution mass spectrometry.
