- **Key responsibilities**:
- Oversee deck crew, deck operations and cargo handling
- Plan and monitor loading, discharge and stowage of bulk cargoes
- Maintain navigational watch and assist the Master with ship’s navigation
- Ensure proper maintenance of deck equipment and safety gear
- Monitor vessel stability, draft, ballast and cargo condition
- Lead safety drills and enforce company and international regulations
- **Requirements**:
- Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) license
- Recent experience as C/O on bulk carriers
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Strong cargo handling and stability knowledge
- Good English communication skills
- Proactive, safety-minded and able to lead an international crew
