Key Responsibilities

• Provision Leadership: Help design and deliver a highly scaffolded curriculum that meets the specific sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs of pupils.
• SEND Interventions: implementing, and monitoring the impact of evidence-based interventions (e.g. Speech & Language, OT programs, sensory circuits).
• EHCP Plans: Contributing to Education, Health, and Care Plans, and attending Annual Reviews.
• External Collaboration: Serving as a link with external agencies for the ELP, including Educational Psychologists, Communication Autism Team, Speech & Language Therapist and specialist outreach services.
• Team Management: Deploying a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants, providing coaching and ensuring high standards of support.
• Strategic Liaison: Working in close partnership with the Assistant Headteacher/ SENDCo to align the ELP with the wider school's SEND strategy.
