Clinical Engineer

We are looking to appoint a Clinical Engineer at Worthing Hospital. The postholder will support the Clinical Engineering Team as part of a Trust Wide Service.

The successful candidate will be highly competent, dependable with excellent organisational skills, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Main duties

• Conduct acceptance checks, repairs and planned preventative maintenance to a wide range of patient‑connected medical equipment.
• Carry out end‑of‑life decommissioning as required.
• Support Clinical Engineering Specialist Technicians to provide Trust‑wide assurance for the safe management of patient‑connected medical devices.
• Consult with clinical and other technical staff to ensure smooth running of activities at site level, work across sites and be flexible to support a cohesive approach.
