We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Clinical Haematologist to join an established team of seven Haematologists and four resident medical officers. The position is full‑time permanent and required to participate in a 1 in 8 on‑call roster. We are ideally looking for someone who has experience and/or a special interest in Haemato‑Oncology.
We provide Clinical Haematology, Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology services to the districts that cover the communities of the Manawatū, northern Wairarapa, Hawke's Bay, Whanganui and Taranaki. This is a combined population of 600,000. The service provides inpatient and outpatient haematology care and manages a wide range of haematological conditions including acute leukaemia, lymphoma, autologous stem cell transplantation, plasma exchange, haemostasis and thrombosis.
