Our Memory Assessment and Therapy team (MATS) are seeking a Band 7 Prescriber to join their collaborative team. MATS is the front door to all of our West Suffolk referrals for memory assessment, affecting the national dementia diagnostic rate data. The team provides a community-based service to adults with a memory issue. We are soon to be re‑named as a Dementia Assessment Service to align with national expectations. We screen and triage all referrals into the service, and signpost to appropriate services if required. Referred people can expect to receive a service from MATS within 12 weeks as per our KPI's.
