Deliver and coordinate holistic Infant2Teen health assessments.
Permanent, full‑time position (40 hours per week).
The Infant2Teen Health Assessment is a free, holistic health assessment for children (0-17 years) within the context of their whānau and community setting. It is completed by a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) employed by Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora – Waitaha.
The CNS must have appropriate postgraduate qualifications in Child and Youth Health and comprehensive understanding of family violence dynamics, child‑protection issues and New Zealand legislation. The assessment acknowledges the child’s and their whānau’s perspective of their health and life journey to date, and seeks professional input from as many services as possible.
