Job Description
Job Responsibilities - Machine Setup: Set up CNC milling and turning machines according to work orders and engineering drawings. This includes loading materials, setting up tooling, and establishing proper machine parameters.
- Operation: Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Tool Changes: Perform tool changes as required, ensuring that the correct tools are used for each job and that they are properly maintained.
- CNC Programming: Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software or manually at the machine. Optimize programs to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- G-Code and M-Code: Write and edit G-code and M-code programs to control machine operations and tool movements.
