The successful candidate will be able to independently operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and efficiently to perform a variety of functions, whilst also ensuring the upkeep of the machines and any malfunctions are appropriately reported. They will work on production and development projects, performing routine operations under well‑defined instructions and in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide business support to an assigned functional area.
- Demonstrate compliance with all safety and quality policies & procedures.
- Follow working instructions and read/interpret drawings to aerospace tolerances.
- Operate within all Parker-Meggitt and Health and Safety at work Regulations.
- Attend start‑of‑shift meeting with the team to understand targets, key issues and communications.
- Detect and elevate any issues to the team leader in a timely manner.
