About the Role

The Critical Care Outreach team provides early patient assessment and timely intervention for acutely unwell or deteriorating patients, including weekend pain rounds. The outreach nurse will role model expert clinical skills, promote best practice, and facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration. The team supports staff in the inpatient units and the emergency department and assists in the assessment and management of critically ill patients.
