LOCATION: Edwards, CO at our Sonnenalp Breast CenterPOSITION PURPOSE: Performs breast imaging procedures including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and (assist) breast ultrasound biopsy. Follows MQSA and ACR guidelines for breast imaging.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Demonstrate knowledge of breast anatomy, pathological conditions and safe administration of radiation. Identifies and reviews patient’s requisition for consistency of examination ordered with clinical diagnosis and all demographic information for the physician and patient. Working knowledge of all Mammography and stereotactic equipment, examinations, and protocols, as well as procedures that require the use of contrast agents and sterile techniques. Conduct and document quality control assuring equipment is within safe limits per MQSA and ACR guidelines.
