Job Description
Responsibilities - To analyse costs and prepare cost estimation based on tender specifications
- To obtain techno-commercial proposals from vendors for cost analysis
- To perform vendor commercial bid analysis against tender specifications
- Assist in tender clarifications and negotiations with equipment vendors
- Prepare credible cost estimates for management to price on works
- Liaison with ship owners, vendors as well as departments on project requirements and costs
- Negotiate and coordinate with all parties on project schedule
Requirements - Diploma/Degree in an Engineering field
- At least 1 year of work experience in Marine industry, in roles such as Commercial, Production, Projects or Engineering Design
- Strong techno-commercial background in shiprepair/marine construction
- Strong experience in cost estimation and analysis for new ship repair projects
