Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items according to brand standards.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines precisely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at all times.
  • Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in line with HACCP and kitchen safety guidelines.
  • Assist in receiving and properly storing deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment (upper‑casual or above preferred).
  • Strong basic cooking skills and willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and HACCP.
