Job Description

**Duties & Responsibilities**

Prepare food in accordance with portion and quality standards specified in recipes.

Assist department head to controls and monitors departmental costs on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budget

Provides support on daily operations and mise en place

Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships

Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled

Ensure that all relevant buffet / display set-ups are prepared ahead of guest’s arrival and in adherence with hotel standards

Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers

Assists with the preparation, presentation, decoration and storage of dishes.

Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service

Cleans and re-sets working area

Ensure that uniforms are always clean and tidy
