Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare food in accordance with portion and quality standards specified in recipes.
  • Assist department head in controlling and monitoring departmental costs to ensure performance against budget.
  • Provide support on daily operations and mise en place.
  • Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships.
  • Attend and participate in training sessions as scheduled.
  • Ensure that all relevant buffet/display set‑ups are prepared ahead of guest arrival and in adherence with hotel standards.
  • Communicate politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers.
  • Assist with the preparation, presentation, decoration and storage of dishes.
  • Prepare in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service.
  • Clean and reset working area.
  • Ensure uniforms are always clean and tidy.
