We’re looking to add a/anCommodity Manager Indirectlocated in Perai, Penang. To lead sourcing strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization across indirect spend categories
What a typical day looks like:
Develop and execute category strategies for indirect spend (e.g., MRO, services, CapEx support)
Drive cost savings, demand management, and supplier consolidation initiatives
Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management (KPIs/QBRs)
Partner with operations, engineering, finance, HR, and EHS to support business needs
Ensure procurement compliance and governance (e.g., No PO No Service)
Monitor market trends and manage supply risks and continuity plans
Track and report savings, KPIs, and supplier performance metrics
Lead and develop procurement team capability across sites.<...
