As a Community Development and Engagement Manager, you will play a key role by contributing to the delivery of effective community development initiatives, and community and stakeholder engagement by building strong partnerships and managing key relationships. You will demonstrate community development values of collaboration and compassion and be able to adapt to challenging situations while working with people from all walks of life.
Kāinga Ora sites are supported by community development initiatives to help smooth the transition before, during and after completion. These initiatives are designed to encourage a sense of community, acceptance and integration, promote being a good neighbour and build partnerships with the community, people and organisations. This role will be in‑person and will require traveling within the North and West Auckland region.
