Candidates should be registered mental health nurses (RMN) with demonstrable clinical expertise in mental health, gained through relevant post‑registration experience and ongoing professional development. You will be a self‑motivated and enthusiastic practitioner who can manage your own caseload while working under the direction and supervision of Senior Band 6 staff and the Team Leader.
Your practice will be underpinned by strong theoretical knowledge, an evidence-based approach, and the ability to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred, recovery‑focused interventions within a community setting.
The service supports adults presenting with a wide range of mental health needs, including both acute conditions and severe and enduring mental illness. You will work as part of a varied and supportive multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) that includes psychiatry, social work, and occupational therapy.
