We are currently seeking a casual Community Mental Health Worker 2 to join our Mental Health Substance Use (MHSU) department at the Nelson Health Centre in beautiful Nelson, BC.
The ideal candidate for the Community Mental Health Worker 2 position is a compassionate, client-centered professional with experience supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental health and/or substance use challenges within a community-based setting. This individual demonstrates a strong understanding of psychosocial rehabilitation and harm reduction principles, and is skilled in engaging clients as active participants in their own recovery by building trust, fostering independence, and supporting meaningful goal setting.
