An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Psychiatrist to support mental health services in Swindon. The post holder will provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within a multidisciplinary framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and formulate treatment plans.
- Manage a caseload of patients with a range of mental health conditions.
- Prescribe and review pharmacological treatments in line with best practice.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to multidisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with governance standards.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements
- GMC registration with licence to practise.
