DescriptionThe Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking a full-time board-certified Consultation/Liaison Psychiatrist.
This position is within the Department of Psychiatry and may be filled at the level of Division Director or Attending Psychiatrist.
Responsibilities Collaborate with medical, surgical and obstetric teams to provide psychiatric care for patients with acute medical and surgical conditions that cannot be managed on inpatient psychiatry units A strong commitment to teaching and supervision is required, as all adult psychiatry residents rotate through this service Additional opportunities are available to participate in and support the Adult Psychiatry Residency Training ProgramQualifications MD/DO degree Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
