Contract Process Engineer - Water Treatment | West Midlands (Hybrid)

From £40p hr (Outside IR35)

Immediate start contract role with a global engineering business delivering multi-million-pound water treatment projects across energy and industrial sectors.

This role spans the full project lifecycle — from process design through to commissioning and optimisation of pure water systems (RO, Ion Exchange, EDI).

Key responsibilities

• Process design (calculations, mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs)
• Equipment sizing using supplier software and in-house spreadsheets
• Producing technical documentation and functional specs
• Commissioning support, troubleshooting and optimisation
• Working within multidisciplinary project teams

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in water / wastewater / pure water projects
