Role: Controls Engineer

Type: 3 month contract

Location: Onsite 5x/week in St. Catherines, ON

Rate: $40-$45/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Controls Engineer to support in upgrading production line systems across multiple manufacturing facilities in North America. This position will focus on PLC programming, system integration, and supporting automation enhancements to improve manufacturing efficiency and reliability.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience working as a Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming: Siemens S7 / TIA portal (Siemens required)
• Experience supporting or working within manufacturing / production environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within control systems
