Job Responsibilities

Control, manage, plan and coordinate Import Control, Export Control, and Road Freight.

1. Effectively administer the full Shipping Controller role including legal compliance and cost control, shipment documentation, etc.
2. Coordinate and consolidate shipments from suppliers in the most cost-effective manner.
3. Negotiate freight rates and sailing and flight schedules to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
4. Track shipments regarding timelines, customs releases, or detentions.
5. Assist with import & export quotations via sea and road.
6. Advise on planned deliveries and warehouse intake.
7. Assist accounts with relevant documents and signatures for payment of foreign and local invoices.
8. Negotiate rates with various export agents, shipping lines, and road transporters for all forms of export.
