Responsibilities

• Carry out proper C & I maintenance (schedule/breakdown) on plants to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Supervise C & I contractors on maintenance repairs to ensure adherence to procedures and operations.
• Liaise closely with Operations personnel on timing of regular preventive C & I maintenance programs and oversee execution of the SAP-based preventive program.
• Conduct regular inspections of plant C & I equipment, assess reliability, and advise the plant engineer of any abnormalities.
• Attend all hands‑on controls & instrumentation planned and unplanned repair/maintenance needs, including control valves, transmitters, temperature & vibration probes, and all related equipment.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of C & I tools.
• Ensure proper safety practices and measures are adhered to.
• Assist the plant and maintenance engineer in reviewing plant C & I spare parts on a regular basis.
