Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

To provide strategic, technical, and operational leadership within a high-volume conveyancing department, while driving efficiency, growth, and strong client relationships.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer
  • 8+ years’ post-admission conveyancing experience
  • Proven experience managing a conveyancing department in a high-volume environment (retail, bank-panel, or developer-driven).
  • Demonstrated expertise across the full conveyancing lifecycle, including:
    • Transfers (including complex matters)
    • Bond registrations
    • Bond cancellations
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • South African property law
    • Deeds Office processes, timelines, and risk points
    • Compliance requirements affecting conveyancing transactions
