Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The convoy surveyor is in charge to implement and manage :
Carry out any and all site survey duties. Details of these duties shall be given in the various Method Statements.Report to the Track Survey Manager any discrepancies or variations between design data and site conditions whenever such are encountered.Surveyors shall hold a recognized diploma in Surveying (or acceptable equivalent) or be able to show relevant trackwork surveying experience.Be responsible for ensuring safety is integral to all survey works carried out by his teamMaintain discipline of Chainmen under his chargeLiaise daily with Construction department site Superintendents to determine minor adjustments to survey requirements and reports these to the Survey ManagerCarry out necessary office calculations relating to his team's work as requiredFollow defined survey methodology and advi...
