About the Role

SharkNinja is seeking a self- driven Cost Engineer to support Shark and Ninja new product lines by developing accurate “should be” cost models throughout the product development process. In this role, you will work closely with the AD and NPD teams to understand product architecture, manufacturing methods, and component selection in order to define the lowest possible cost to produce a product while maintaining performance and consumer value.

What You Will Do

• Support getting a complete product definition created
• Coordinate product details to generate a ball-park cost during the AD phase
• Generate a “should be” cost that reflects the latest product definition and update it at each prototype build
• Review CBOMs from suppliers
• Deliver reports or summary PowerPoint slides and share with the teams on where the cost is
