Counsellor

About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting young people, children, to build resilience, strengthen wellbeing, and stay connected to school and community? We're seeking a dedicated Counsellor/Social Worker to join our Child, Youth and Family Services Team at Capital Region Community Services (CRCS). This is a part-time fixed term role to the 30th of June 2027.

This role supports children and young people aged 5–18 in the ACT who may be experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and wellbeing challenges. Working within a strengths-based, early intervention model, you will deliver individual counselling, group-based support, and creative therapeutic programs that build connection, confidence, and engagement.

You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and community partners to support young people to thrive in their education, relationships, and daily lives.
