We are currently seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis in secondary schools across West Yorkshire, starting from September 2026.This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, flexibility, and supporting students’ learning in a classroom setting.
The RoleAs a day-to-day supply Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
Duties include:

Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain on task

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Providing a calm, positive, and productive learning environment

Supporting students with their work where appropriate

Adapting to different schools, subjects, and age groups (KS3 and KS4)
