Crane Operator (SMP) – Steel Industry

Qualification:

• Minimum Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th Pass)

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate cranes safely for handling steel materials, equipment, and heavy loads within the Steel Melting Plant (SMP).
• Perform pre-operational inspections and routine checks of crane equipment.
• Ensure safe lifting, movement, and placement of materials as per operational requirements.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and safety teams during lifting activities.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Report any equipment defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating EOT/Overhead Cranes in a steel manufacturing environment, preferably in a Steel Melting Plant (SMP).
