Classification: Competitive (HELPS) Location: Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School Shift: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm)

Position Description: This position involves routine manual work requiring responsibility for the efficient and economic performance of semi-skilled cleaning, maintenance, and grounds keeping tasks for school buildings, grounds, and equipment. Work is performed under the general supervision of a supervisor and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Considerable leeway is permitted for the exercise of independent judgment. General supervision may be exercised over subordinate cleaning or maintenance personnel. Performs related duties as required.



Typical Work Activities:


+ Paints rooms and equipment; repairs furniture; performs minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
