Posting Summary
Perform variety of custodial cleaning services, in a team setting, to University facilities. Clean and maintain floor surfaces: dust mop, sweep, wet mop, top scrub and buff floors and periodically strip floors of finish using powered scrubbing and burnishing machines. Clean water fountains, clean waste receptacles, wash windows. Maintain safe and clean living, learning and work environment. Remove trash and recycled items. May respond to after-hours emergency calls. May operate University vehicle. This position requires active engagement in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion, environmental sustainability and delivering great customer service. Under the direct supervision of the Custodial Supervisor, support our department’s mission, “providing the University with a clean, safe, and healthy environment in which to live, learn and work.”<...
