Staff Nurse (Band 5) – Ancora House

Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurses to join the team at Ancora House, an in‑patient child and adolescent mental health service in Chester.

Location

Ancora House is based on the Countess of Chester Health Park Site, approximately 1.5 miles from Chester city centre. The unit contains 30 beds across two wards (Coral and Indigo) and supports young people with mental illness and eating disorders.

Main Duties

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to service users on a rotational shift schedule (days, nights and twilight).
  Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with excellent training and pre‑ceptorship programmes.
• Demonstrate an understanding and application of the 6 C’s (Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment) in practice.
